Canada ready to help Ukraine export grain

The Canadian government is ready to assist in exporting grain from Ukrainian ports by providing its own ships.

Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly made the remarks following a meeting of foreign ministers of the G7 countries in the commune of Wangels (the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein) in northern Germany, TASS informs, citing the CTV channel.

Joly said Ottawa is ready to provide its ships to export grain.

“We have to make sure that this grain is delivered worldwide. Otherwise, millions of people could face famine,” Joly is quoted as saying by CTV.
