Car rams bus stop in Israel, seven injured in suspected terror attack
In Israel, a vehicle struck a group of people waiting at a bus stop in Kfar Yona, near the coastal city of Netanya, in what is being treated as a suspected terrorist attack, according to Israel’s Channel 12.
The incident resulted in seven injuries, with two individuals reported in serious condition and five others sustaining minor injuries.
The driver responsible for the crash fled the scene immediately.
Israeli police have classified the event as a terrorist attack and have launched a manhunt to apprehend the perpetrator.
Security forces have closed crossings into the West Bank in the vicinity, including the road leading to Tulkarem, to aid in the pursuit of the suspect, a military official said. The police helicopter continues to support the search operation.
