Car rams into PSG fans celebrating Champions League victory in Paris VIDEO
A car drove into a crowd of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) supporters as they celebrated the team's qualification for the UEFA Champions League final, leaving several injured in a serious incident that took place near the Champs-Élysées.
Three people were hospitalised following the crash, Caliber.Az reports, citing French media.
One is in critical condition, and the other two sustained serious injuries. The vehicle was later found burned, and the whereabouts of the driver remain unknown.
The violent incident occurred shortly after PSG’s dramatic victory over London’s Arsenal in the semi-final second leg of the Champions League. In a match held on the night of May 7–8, PSG won 2–1, securing a 3–1 aggregate score and advancing to the final, where they will face Inter Milan.
The celebrations in Paris turned chaotic, with police arresting at least 43 individuals amid clashes and public disturbances. Law enforcement officers were forced to use tear gas in some situations, and reports confirmed that several shops and vehicles were damaged during the unrest caused by the crowd of football supporters.
