Survey: No widespread disruptions in Azerbaijan–Georgia cargo transport
Cargo transportation between Azerbaijan and Georgia is proceeding normally, and the reported delays are not widespread, the Azerbaijan International Road Carriers Association (ABADA) has stated, citing a survey among carriers.
It said, based on the survey, recent reports of widespread disruptions do not reflect the overall situation, Caliber.Az reports.
ABADA made it clear that, in some cases, inspections are carried out in laboratory mode in accordance with Georgian legislation, depending on the nature of the cargo being transported, which may result in delays for individual vehicles.
The association added that the relevant state authorities are taking the necessary measures to address the issue and said additional information will be provided in due course.
