Casualties reported after Russian shelling of Kherson region
Russian shelling of the Kherson region targeted residential areas and civilian infrastructure, leaving one person dead and 23 others injured, the regional military administration said.
According to the authorities, Russian forces struck social infrastructure facilities as well as residential quarters across settlements in the region. The attacks caused damage to five multi-storey buildings and 19 private homes.
In addition to housing, the strikes hit civilian and administrative assets, damaging an administrative building, an ambulance vehicle, minibuses, and private cars.
“As a result of the Russian strikes, 1 person was killed, and another 23 were wounded,” the administration said.
The regional authorities also reported that four people were evacuated a day earlier from liberated communities in the Kherson region.
