Caucasus Muslims Office chairman addresses diaspora questions in Russia on religious, national values
During his visit to Russia’s capital Moscow, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, met with members of the Azerbaijani diaspora.
Pashazade spoke about state-religious relations in Azerbaijan, emphasizing the attention and care shown by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva toward Azerbaijan’s religion and national moral values, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Pashazade informed about the ongoing reconstruction in the areas liberated after the second Karabakh war. He highlighted the restoration of religious sites and the process of returning Azerbaijani displaced people to their homeland.
Furthermore, the chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office emphasised the importance of hosting the 29th session of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Azerbaijan. During the meeting, he answered questions that were of particular interest to the diaspora representatives.
