CENTCOM: 122 commercial vessels turned back since Iran blockade began

American forces have redirected 122 commercial vessels since the U.S. blockade of Iran came into effect on April 13, according to a statement posted by the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) on X.
“USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) transits the Arabian Sea as the aircraft carrier continues to support the U.S. blockade against Iran. U.S. forces have redirected 122 commercial vessels to ensure compliance,” the command stated.
