CENTCOM chief: US strikes over 5,500 targets in Iran using AI
The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has struck more than 5,500 targets in Iran, including over 60 ships, General Bradley Cooper, CENTCOM Commander, said in a post on X.
Providing a mid-operation update on Operation Epic Fury, Cooper emphasised that U.S. forces are employing advanced artificial intelligence tools to support military operations, Caliber.Az reports.

“These systems help us sift through vast amounts of data in seconds, so our leaders can cut through the noise and make smarter decisions faster than the enemy can react,” he said.
He added that final decisions about "what to shoot and what not to shoot and when to shoot" remain in human hands, but advanced AI tools can turn processes that used to take hours or even days into mere seconds.
