Children find mine on beach in Bulgaria

Children have found a mine in the sea while catching sea snails in the Bulgarian resort town of Tsarevo.

The children, after revealing a mine, warned the rescuers about it, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to the local news agency BGNES.

The place where the explosive shell was found has been fenced off, the agency said, adding that people at the same time continued to swim in other parts of the beach.

BGNES added that Bulgarian specialists plan to destroy the mine after they determine the type of projectile found.

Over the past month, mines have been found on beaches in three more cities in Bulgaria.
