China condemns attacks on civilian facilities, MFA says

China opposes attacks targeting civilian facilities, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said on July 20 in response to the recent missile and drone strikes on Saudi Arabia's Abha International Airport.

Speaking at a regular press briefing, Lin stressed that the sovereignty and security of Saudi Arabia and other countries must be respected, Caliber.Az reports, citing Xinhua.

He also reiterated Beijing's support for resolving disputes through political and diplomatic channels, saying such efforts are essential to creating conditions for the early restoration of peace and stability in the region.
