China ready to be partner and friend to US, says Xi Jinping

Chinese President Xi Jinping has expressed China's readiness to be a partner and friend to the United States, highlighting that such cooperation would benefit not only the two nations but the entire world.

In a message to participants of the traditional meeting of the National Committee on US-China Relations, he emphasized that Sino-American relations are among the most crucial in the world, impacting the well-being of both nations and the future of humanity, and added that these bilateral ties are vital for both countries' prosperity, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.

"Sino-American relations are one of the most important bilateral relationships globally, connected to the welfare of two peoples and the future destiny of humanity," wrote the Chinese leader.

He reiterated that China has consistently built its relationship with the United States based on the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and mutually beneficial cooperation.

He noted that Beijing has always believed that the successes of China and the United States represent opportunities for each other.

"Both countries should assist one another in development rather than the opposite," he remarked.

The National Committee on US-China Relations was established in the United States in 1966 by a group of scholars, politicians, religious leaders, and businesspeople who were interested in the development of relations between the two countries in the context of global politics at that time.
