China rebukes Germany's allegations over Ukraine crisis during Baerbock’s visit
China has firmly rejected any accusations or political manipulations concerning Ukraine that may be raised by Germany.
Speaking at a briefing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian addressed the matter in response to the ongoing visit of German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock to China, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
Lin emphasized that China has consistently opposed efforts to blame or shift responsibility onto Beijing regarding the Ukrainian crisis.
“On the Ukrainian issue, the Chinese side has repeatedly stated its firm opposition to accusations and the shifting of responsibility onto China, as well as political manipulations on this matter,” Lin stated in response to a question from a Western journalist.
The diplomat added that the Chinese Foreign Ministry would provide further details about Baerbock’s visit "in due course."
Note that, Baerbock is in China on a working visit, during which she intends to discuss the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
According to German Foreign Ministry spokesperson Christian Wagner, the agenda will include discussions on bilateral relations, foreign policy, and security issues.
