China’s humanoid robots perform kung fu with shaolin monks VIDEO
Chinese robotics firm Agibot released a video showing its humanoid robots performing kung fu alongside monks at the Shaolin Temple, highlighting advances in artificial intelligence and robotics.
The robots, part of Agibot’s Lingxi X2 line, demonstrated precise martial arts moves in sync with human performers, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
Powered by the company’s Go-1 AI model, the humanoids can carry out tasks and mimic human movements without prior training.
Agibot previously showcased the X2 performing gymnastics and cycling, reflecting rapid progress in humanoid capabilities. Filming at the historic Shaolin Temple symbolises a fusion of centuries-old martial arts traditions with next-generation technology.
The video, first posted on February 7, has drawn widespread attention online, prompting discussions about the growing role of robots in daily human environments.
