China’s president urges int’l community to unite in face of unprecendented global challenges

Chinese President Xi Jinping has said that the international community should show solidarity and take measures to strengthen multilateral cooperation because of unprecedented changes in the global political arena.

The president made the statement in his address to the participants of the international forum Imperial Springs 2023 on December 4, Caliber.Az reports, citing the country’s Foreign Ministry.

The event is being held in the Chinese city of Guangzhou.  

"In the face of unprecedented and epochal changes, the human community should unite, invariably share experience, maintain tolerance and openness, and promote mutually beneficial cooperation," Jinping said.

He called on all countries for joint efforts to "build a better world".

The Chinese leader added that he hoped for states to support "genuine multilateral cooperation" and the formation of an international community "with a common destiny".
