China to continue supporting Lebanon, Iran with humanitarian aid

China will provide a new batch of humanitarian assistance to Iran and Lebanon in the near future to further support recovery, reconstruction, and economic development in both countries, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said.

He made the remarks at a regular press briefing on June 17, noting that China, as a good friend of Middle Eastern countries and a responsible major power, will continue to provide support and assistance within its capabilities.
