China warns of consequences for ignoring its stance on Taiwan

China has issued a stern warning to those disregarding its position on the Taiwan issue, stating that they will face consequences. This statement comes in response to China's recent sanctions against US military-industrial companies supplying arms to Taiwan.

"The Taiwan issue lies at the core of China's core interests and is the first red line in Sino-US relations that must not be crossed," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said during a briefing, according to TASS. "No one should fantasize that they can violate borders and step on lines without retribution," Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

Lin emphasized that no state, organization, or individual should underestimate the Chinese government's and people's firm determination, will, and ability to defend the country's national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
