Chinese, US defence leaders discuss channels for crisis communication

The Head of the US Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, discussed with his Chinese counterpart, Wei Fenghe, the need to improve crisis communication between the two superpowers on November 22.

As Reuters reported, this information came from a Pentagon spokesperson said, Brigadier General Pat Ryder, adding that Austin has also raised concerns about the increasingly dangerous behavior by Chinese aircrafts that "increases risk of an accident". It is the second meeting between the American and Chinese defence leaders this year.
