Cholera outbreak kills three in Syria

The first cholera outbreak in many years has occurred in various parts of Syria, killing three people.
The Kurdish Autonomous Administration, not recognised by Damascus, announced the death of three people from cholera in Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor cities, Gazeta.ru reports with reference to the statement of the Syrian authorities.
The regional health department called on international organisations to help combat the outbreak.
In total, at least 15 cases have been registered in the Kurdish territories.
Moreover, the Syrian Ministry of Health announced 15 cases in Aleppo province.
A nine-year-old child was infected first of all. After getting medical assistance, he was discharged from the hospital.
