Clinton: Netanyahu sought to persuade all US presidents toward Iran war

Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has had a long-standing obsession with drawing the United States into a war with Iran.

Clinton said from personal experience, she knows how Netanyahu has tried to convince every American president to agree to an open-ended war with Iran, Caliber.Az reports, citing Clash Report.

The former diplomat added that during “hours-long conversations with him”, she encountered his rather vague desire to do something about Iran without a clear end goal.

“I had many, many long, hours-long conversations with him and his war cabinet about this, and refusing to go along with a very inchoate desire to do something to Iran with no real end state that could be described sufficiently,” she noted.
