Community chair calls on youth to lead charge for Western Azerbaijan's return
Aziz Alakbarli, Chairman of the Western Azerbaijan Community, Member of Parliament, has pointed out the role of youth in the return of Western Azerbaijanis to their historical homeland.
“The return of Western Azerbaijanis to their historical homeland largely hinges on the involvement and commitment of the youth," Alakbarli told journalists, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Speaking ahead of the “Return to Western Azerbaijan” event, Alakbarli stressed the importance of youth in preserving the legacy and ensuring the future of the Azerbaijani people. He highlighted that the foundations of Azerbaijan’s youth policy were laid by national leader Heydar Aliyev, and continue to shape the nation’s development.
“The essence of youth policy is to educate youth who respect our national values and statehood. Because the future of our country and people depends on youth,” Alakbarli stated, underscoring the significance of instilling pride in national heritage and strengthening statehood among young generations.
