Construction of new Jewish school building ongoing in Baku PHOTO

In the Nasimi district of Azerbaijan's capital Baku, in the very centre of the capital, the construction of a new building for the Jewish school "Chabad Or-Avner" (Ohr Avner Chabad Jewish Day School Azerbaijan) is ongoing.

According to Caliber.Az, the two-story building is being erected at the intersection of Rasul Rza and Dilara Aliyeva streets, near the Winter Park Plaza building and the synagogue for Ashkenazi Jews.

At the moment, final work is underway on the facade and internal repairs have begun.

At the same time, the building is being built very slowly - according to the information on the construction information plate, it was planned to open in February 2022, but it was not opened even a year later in February 2023 ...

The customer of the new building, which will be adjacent to the synagogue, is the school itself, which is now located on November 8 Avenue in the Khatai district of Baku.
