Container ship hit by projectiles off Oman

A container ship sailing off the coast of eastern Oman was struck by two unidentified projectiles, sparking a fire on its deck, according to maritime authorities.

The British Chamber of Shipping said the vessel’s captain reported the incident near the port of Ras al-Hadd, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said. 

No immediate details were available on casualties or the extent of the damage.
