Council of EU approves decision to suspend simplified visa regime with Russia

The Council of the European Union will make a decision to suspend the visa facilitation agreement with the Russian Federation without discussion on September 9.

"First, 'A points' ('without discussion' section of the council’s agenda), including a proposal for a decision to suspend the Visa Facilitation Agreement with Russia, will be adopted at the meeting,” according to the website of the European Council.
