Israeli Air Force neutralizes rocket-firing militant group in Gaza Strip

On July 3, the Israeli Air Force carried out an operation targeting a militant group in the Gaza Strip responsible for launching rockets toward Sderot, a city in southern Israel.

According to the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) press service, the strike successfully eliminated the rocket squad, Caliber.Az reports.

Simultaneously, weapons — including rifles, pistols, ammunition magazines, and mortars — were discovered in the southern Gaza area of Khan Yunis. Operations are also ongoing in the Rafah region.

A statement from the IDF confirmed that "the air force struck a terrorist unit launching rockets from northern Gaza toward Sderot and neutralised the threat".

The IDF emphasised that it will persist in its efforts to remove any dangers threatening the safety of Israeli civilians.
