Council of Europe secretary arrives in Kyiv to strengthen ties with Ukraine

Council of Europe Secretary General Alain Berset arrived in Ukraine for an official visit.

Berset held talks with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, discussing Ukraine’s cooperation with the Council of Europe and measures to support the country amid ongoing challenges. A joint press conference followed the meeting, Caliber.Az reports, citing Ukrainian media.

Berset and Sybiha also paid tribute to fallen Ukrainian defenders at an improvised memorial on Kyiv’s Independence Square.
