Crane gets shaken off high-rise building by earthquake in Philippines VIDEO

A crane toppled off a twenty-storey highrise building in Davao City, Philippines, following a strong earthquake in the region.

As reported by ABC News, video footage captured the unsettling scene of the tower block under construction, with onlookers expressing fear. Four sections of the crane fell to the ground, emitting grey smoke yet fortunately no injuries were reported. 

The incident occurred following a significant magnitude 6.7 earthquake in the Celebes Sea, southern Philippines on November 17.

The earthquake has resulted in six confirmed deaths, with a search underway for two missing individuals after a landslide in the coastal town of Glan. Other countries, including Indonesia and Malaysia, have also been affected by the quake.
