24 December 2025 14:16
Russian forces have targeted Ukraine’s oil and gas infrastructure for the second consecutive day, leaving key equipment out of operation, Naftogaz announced.
“For the second day in a row, Russia has struck Ukrnafta’s production facilities,” the company confirmed, Caliber.Az reports, citing Ukrainian media.
Over the past 48 hours, Russian attacks reportedly involved nearly 100 assault drones, resulting in critical damage and halting operations of the affected equipment.
“Rescue teams and company specialists are actively addressing the consequences of these attacks. Restoration work will begin immediately upon completion of emergency measures,” stated Sergii Koretskyi, Chief Executive Officer of Naftogaz Group.
