Croatia refuses to send troops to Ukraine

Croatia’s Minister of Defence, Ivan Anušić, stated that the country has no intention of sending military personnel to Ukraine, even in the event of a ceasefire, Vecernji list reports.

“We are not ready, we do not want, and we do not plan to send the Croatian army to Ukraine,” Anušić emphasised.

He added that Croatia will continue to provide Ukraine with political, technical, and financial support, but participation in military missions is ruled out.

Earlier, similar statements were made by the authorities in Poland and Italy.
