Cyprus completes repatriation of 805 citizens from high-risk zones

A total of 805 Cypriot citizens have been evacuated from high-risk zones, government spokesperson Konstantinos Letymbiotis said.

He noted that two additional flights arrived on March 6—one carrying 145 passengers and another with 148, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.

In total, five repatriation flights have been carried out so far, while additional flights are being arranged to continue the evacuation.

Letymbiotis stressed that the competent authorities, in coordination with the Foreign Ministry and other state bodies, are continuously monitoring the situation and adjusting plans to make use of every available opportunity.
