Czech police nab suspect over planned attack on Russian House VIDEO
Czech authorities have arrested a foreign national suspected of attempting to set fire to the Russian cultural centre, known as the Russian House, in Prague using Molotov cocktails.
The arrest was announced by the police on social media platform X, Caliber.Az reports.

According to officials, the suspect voluntarily reported to the police station and admitted to planning the attack, which he had been preparing since the summer of 2025.
“This involves a foreign national who, according to his own statements, had been planning and preparing this act since the summer of 2025. Today, standard criminal procedures will be carried out against him,” the police said, without providing details on the suspect’s nationality.
The Russian House was previously targeted in an attack on March 26, heightening concerns over security at Russian cultural institutions in the Czech Republic.
