Czech prime minister to visit Uzbekistan for high-level talks
On April 29–30, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan, according to the press service of the Uzbek president.
In line with the visit programme, high-level talks will be held in Tashkent, during which the sides will discuss prospects for further developing multifaceted Uzbek-Czech cooperation.
The focus will be on boosting mutual trade and deepening cooperation in mechanical engineering, green energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and transport.
The parties will also address cooperation in the cultural, humanitarian, and educational spheres.
In addition, an exchange of views is expected on international issues, including mutual support on multilateral platforms.
A package of bilateral documents is set to be signed following the meeting.
As part of the visit, Babiš will also take part in the Uzbek-Czech business forum.
