Daily Mail: Keir Starmer may resign as UK prime minister

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer may decide to step down from his position.

On May 16, columnist Dan Hodges wrote in the Daily Mail, citing government sources, that Starmer has told close friends he intends to leave the premiership. 

The journalist noted that the head of government is aware of the difficult domestic political situation and is aiming to depart with dignity.

The exact timing of a possible resignation remains unknown. However, Hodges’ sources insist that the decision itself is not in doubt.
