Day 19 of Middle East conflict: Casualties mount across region PHOTO

Explosions continue across Iran, Israel, and several other Middle Eastern countries on the nineteenth day of conflict, following US and Israeli attacks on Iran that began on February 28, Al Jazeera reports.

In response, Tehran launched numerous missiles and drones targeting Israel and multiple US military bases in the region.

Confirmed casualties across 12 affected countries as of March 18 are as follows:

• Iran: 1,444 killed, 18,551 injured

• Israel: 17 killed, 3,727 injured

• US soldiers: 13 killed, 200 injured

• Bahrain: 2 killed, dozens injured

• Iraq: 58 killed, dozens injured

• Jordan: 0 killed, 28 injured

• Kuwait: 6 killed, dozens injured

• Lebanon: 912 killed, 2,221 injured

• Oman: 3 killed, 15 injured

• Qatar: 0 killed, 16 injured

• Saudi Arabia: 2 killed, 12 injured

• United Arab Emirates: 8 killed, 158 injured
