Deadly Russian attack on Dnipro region kills four, injures children photo
Russian forces carried out a large-scale overnight attack on the city of Dnipro and other parts of the Dnipropetrovsk region, using missiles and drones.
The head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Ganja, reported that four individuals were wounded in Dnipro. Among them is a baby boy who is less than one month old. He has been hospitalised, and doctors assess his condition as moderately serious.
The strikes triggered several fires across the affected areas. Infrastructure facilities, private homes, and vehicles sustained damage.
A day earlier, on February 11, four people lost their lives, and three others were injured in Russian attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region.
In the Synelnykove district, strikes hit the Rozdorska, Pokrovska, Vasylkivska, and Bohynivska communities. The attacks sparked fires and destroyed two private homes. Emergency responders rescued an injured man from beneath the rubble, while two women were also reported wounded. The bodies of four victims were recovered from the debris.
In the Nikopol district, Russian forces targeted the city of Nikopol as well as the Marhanets, Myrove, Krasnohryhorivka, and Pokrovske communities. The shelling damaged a hospital, residential buildings, and vehicles, and completely destroyed a bus.
