Deadly Russian missile strike disrupts rail traffic in Kharkiv region VIDEO
A Russian military strike has targeted railway infrastructure in the town of Lozova, located in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, resulting in casualties.
The attack caused significant damage to the railway station and surrounding infrastructure, Caliber.Az reports, citing Ukrainian media.
While the majority of those present managed to reach shelter in time, the strike still led to fatalities and injuries.
"A duty mechanic at one of the railway facilities was killed, and four other employees sustained injuries," the report noted. "All the injured are currently receiving appropriate medical treatment."
As a result of the shelling, train No. 66/65-166/165, operating the Uman–Cherkasy–Kharkiv route, has been rerouted. Passengers travelling to or from Lozova will be transferred by bus to nearby Panyutino to board their trains.
