Defence chief warns Israel could resume operations if Iran objectives unmet

14 May 2026 16:43

Israel’s Defence Minister, Israel Katz, said that the country’s mission in relation to Iran remains unfinished, warning that further military action could be required if objectives are not met.

Speaking in remarks cited by Clash Report, Katz emphasised that Israel remains prepared for additional operations, including in the near term.

"Our mission is not complete. We are prepared for the possibility that we may be required to act again — perhaps even soon. If the objectives are not secured, we will act again," he said.
