Denmar, Moldova strengthen military cooperation

Denmark and Moldova have signed an agreement on military cooperation aimed at strengthening Moldova’s armed forces.

According to IPN, this was announced by Danish Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen during a press conference in Chișinău.

Under the agreement, the Danish government will allocate $7 million over a four-year period. The funds will be directed towards military training and combating cyberattacks.

Poulsen stated that starting from November 1, a Danish military attaché will begin work in Moldova. He also noted that Denmark is exploring opportunities to support Ukraine in cooperation with Moldova, with particular emphasis on enhancing Moldova’s resilience and strengthening its defence sector.
