Denmark eyes sending tanks to Ukraine

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has said that she had discussed the transfer of tanks to Ukraine with her Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

She said that Denmark has been supporting Ukraine since the start of the Russian full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022.

"I think we have proved by many deeds that we are indeed a true friend of Ukraine. Of course, tanks are what we discussed today. We just gave Ukraine artillery systems, but we need tanks as well. We talked about various topics that are important for Ukraine now and for the future too, including tanks," RBC-Ukraine quotes Frederiksen as saying on January 31.
