DNA analysis confirms death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar

DNA testing has confirmed the death of Yahya Sinwar, a leader of the Palestinian militant group Hamas, in the Gaza Strip.

This confirmation represents a significant development in the ongoing conflict, as Sinwar was a key figure in Hamas' operations and strategy, Caliber.Az reports citing Russian media.

While further details surrounding the circumstances of his death remain undisclosed, sources indicate that identifying Sinwar was facilitated by his prior detentions in Israeli prisons.

Earlier, the Israeli army's press office announced that three Palestinian militants were killed during clashes in the Gaza Strip, with one of them potentially being Sinwar. The military is currently working to clarify the identities of the deceased.

Additionally, a source from Sky News Arabia confirmed the death of the head of the Hamas politburo in Rafah, although no official statements have been released yet.
