Drone attack in Kyiv kills 71-year-old man of Azerbaijani origin

A 71-year-old Ukrainian citizen of Azerbaijani origin was killed in a drone strike in Kyiv.

The victim, Ashur Akbarov, was originally from Azerbaijan’s Lankaran district and lived in the Vyshneve area of Kyiv, according to local media.

He was driving his personal car to work on the morning of September 27 when he came under a drone attack and was killed at the scene.
