Drone attack triggers fire at industrial facilities in Ruwais, UAE

Abu Dhabi authorities are taking measures following a fire at the Ruwais industrial complex, which broke out after a drone attack, according to the emirate’s government media office, cited by France 24. 

No casualties have been reported.

France 24 writes that the complex houses facilities of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), capable of processing up to 922,000 barrels of oil per day. It serves as a central hub for the emirate’s industrial operations, including major chemical, fertiliser, and industrial gas plants.
