Drone crash sparks 7-hectare fire in Ukraine's Chernihiv region PHOTO

A fire broke out across natural ecosystems in Ukraine’s Chernihiv region after the crash of a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The incident occurred in the Koriukivka district, where the crash ignited self-seeded vegetation and dry grass. The fire spread in separate pockets, covering a total area of approximately 7 hectares.
“A fire of self-seeded vegetation and dry grass occurred in the Koriukivka district. The fire spread in separate pockets over a total area of about 7 hectares. Thanks to the actions of rescuers, it was possible to prevent further spread of the fire and extinguish it,” the Ukrainian service said.
