Drone fragment found on Romanian Black Sea beach PHOTO

A fragment of an unidentified drone has been found on a beach in Olimp, in Romania’s Constanța County, authorities said.

The fragment was discovered by holidaymakers on the morning of August 26, who alerted the authorities, Caliber.Az reports, citing Romanian media.

Specialists were sent to the site to examine the object, while access to the area was temporarily restricted for safety reasons.

A second drone fragment was found and seized by law enforcement officers near the casino in Constanța on the previous evening. It is believed not to have contained an explosive charge.

Investigators are working to establish the origin of both fragments found along Romania’s Black Sea coast.
