Drone strike damages industrial site, energy facility in Ukraine’s Poltava
An industrial enterprise and an energy infrastructure facility were damaged in Ukraine’s Poltava region following a drone attack, regional military administration head Vitaliy Dyakivnych said.
“In the Poltava district, industrial and private enterprises were hit. Technological equipment and an administrative building were damaged. One person was injured and hospitalised.
Also, UAVs struck a private house and an energy infrastructure facility, causing a power outage. Crews from ‘Poltavaoblenergo’ are working to restore the electricity supply.
In the Myrhorod district, warehouse facilities were damaged as a result of UAV debris. In these cases, there were no casualties,” he added.
Earlier, Ukrainian media reported a series of explosions in the city of Poltava amid continued aerial attacks in the region.
