Drone strike hits passenger train in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia, injuring two

Russian forces carried out a drone strike on a suburban passenger train in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region, according to Ukrzaliznytsia.

The railway operator said the attack struck near one of the train’s carriages. The train was brought to a halt, and passengers were evacuated.

Two people who were unable to leave the carriages in time sustained shrapnel injuries.

“Work is currently underway to restore train services on this section of the line,” the company added.
