Drone strikes trigger fire at Kuwait oil refinery in Al-Ahmadi

A fire broke out at an oil refinery in Kuwait’s Al-Ahmadi oil port after the facility was hit by multiple drone strikes, according to the Kuna news agency.

The refinery, operated by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, was targeted in a series of attacks in the morning, resulting in several units catching fire.

The company confirmed that no injuries were reported. Emergency response teams were deployed to contain the blaze, while part of the refinery’s operations has been temporarily shut down as a precaution.
