Drones become unusual store decoration in Ukraine’s Ternopil PHOTO

An unusual display featuring drones has appeared at a store in Ternopil, western Ukraine, with footage of the installation circulating online.

The drone-themed decoration has drawn mixed reactions from social media users amid the ongoing war in Ukraine.

The display comes as the country continues to face frequent Russian aerial attacks. Overnight on September 25-26, Russia launched 295 attack drones against Ukraine, according to Ukraine’s Air Force, which said 267 were shot down or suppressed. Strikes were recorded at 16 locations, while falling debris caused damage at four others.

The previous day, Russian drone and missile strikes killed seven people in Kyiv, including a 14-year-old boy, and injured 58, according to Ukrainian authorities.
