Dubai to build new major attraction with over $500 million investment VIDEO
Dubai is set to unveil a grand new landmark for both residents and tourists, with an estimated cost of 2 billion UAE dirhams (around $545 million).
This exciting new development, named "Dubai Thermae" will feature a 100-meter structure that will house a wellness and aquatic complex, a water park, and the world’s largest indoor botanical garden, Caliber.Az reports per the Dubai Media Office.
Located in the heart of Dubai, within the Za'abeel Park, the project is expected to be completed by 2028. The attraction is projected to welcome around 1.7 million visitors annually, further boosting Dubai's appeal as a global tourism hub.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, also revealed plans for the launch of the world's tallest wellbeing resort.

Announcing the development on his official X account (formerly Twitter), Sheikh Hamdan shared that the project will be an integral part of the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033.
The strategy, he says, ‘aims to establish our city as the world’s best place to live,’ before unveiling the huge project.
“This landmark AED2 billion development will feature an interactive park and the world’s largest indoor botanical garden, designed to host 1.7 million visitors annually,” the Crown Prince added.
The resort will be situated in Zabeel Park and is scheduled to open in 2028, further enhancing Dubai's iconic skyline.
Sheikh Hamdan ended the tweet stating, ‘This innovative project reflects our commitment to enhancing urban biodiversity and environmental sustainability and creating enriching experiences for Dubai’s residents and visitors.’
