Dutch trade finance bank goes bust after Russia sanctions

Amsterdam Trade Bank (ATB) has filed for bankruptcy after the lender and its parent company, Russia’s Alfa Bank, were hit with sanctions in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Established in 1994 to finance trade between European countries and former Soviet states, ATB provided shipping, commodities and trade finance, Global Trade Review reports.
