Earthquake of magnitude 4.7 strikes Tajikistan

A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck Tajikistan at 09:46 Baku time (05:46 GMT) on September 23, Kazinform reports.

According to operational data from the Data Centre of the Institute of Geophysical Research of Kazakhstan’s National Nuclear Centre, the earthquake had an energy class of K=11.35, while the depth of its focus was 190 km.
